Reviews from Bikepackers

Beckwourth Peak High Camp was an amazing spot to stay for a bikepacking trip. Forest the host was awesome and made routes for us to optimize our trip. We ride from truckee up to portola on single track he routed us on and had an amazing time. We stayed in the yurt and it was clean, spacious, well stocked and super comfy! It was truly a bikepacking glamping experience. – Christa

Bikepacked to High Camp. The website had excellent instructions for biking in the area and Forest took the time to give helpful, personalized advice for getting the route right. We highly appreciated this as we were biking in the area for the first time. – Walter

We came to Beckwourth Peak High Camp looking for a place to stage a bikepacking trip in the Lost Sierra. It was perfect! The tiny home cabins exceeded all of our expectations! They are new and modern, with comfortable beds. The bathroom block is separate, but similarly new, modern and very clean and comfortable. On top of that, the owner Forest is an avid bikepacker himself. The land the camp is situated on is really stunningly beautiful. We were able to ride straight from our cabin to some beautiful trails around Beckwourth peak. The property is an excellent base camp for adventures in this beautiful neck of the woods. – Julie
